Finding the site can be a bit of a challenge due to its underground location. Lack of signage means you’ll need to rely on your sense of direction (or a good map!). Venture past the Colosseum’s back entrance, follow the path up the Oppian Hill, one of the seven hills of Rome. You’ll find the entrance to the Domus Aurea on your left, marked by signs once you reach the top of the hill.
