Paris, the city of love, romance, and endless possibilities. You could spend a lifetime exploring its hidden corners and charming cafes. But even a day in this magical city can be filled with unforgettable experiences.

A Boutique Hotel Haven: The Relais Christine

Imagine waking up to the scent of freshly baked croissants and a cup of espresso in a luxurious hotel tucked away in the heart of Saint Germain. The Hotel Relais Christine is a haven of elegance and charm, offering a respite from the bustling city. Each of the 48 rooms and suites, beautifully renovated by Laura Gonzalez, is a testament to Parisian style and comfort. You’ll be treated like family, and you’ll never want to leave!

An Artistic Journey: The Louvre

The Louvre is a treasure trove of art, boasting over 35,000 masterpieces within its 652,000 square feet. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer volume of art! That’s why I recommend the Walks “Highlights of the Louvre” tour, led by an expert art historian. You’ll skip the lines and witness iconic pieces like the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo, and the Winged Victory of Samothrace (my personal favorite). You’ll also learn about the history of the building itself, a hidden gem within this artistic masterpiece.

A Taste of Tradition: L’As du Fallafel

After your artistic adventure, it’s time for a taste of Parisian tradition. The Marais district is home to L’As du Fallafel, a renowned falafel spot that will transport you to a world of culinary delight. The massive line might seem daunting, but trust me, it’s worth the wait. You’ll be greeted by the energetic atmosphere and the incredible speed of the sandwich makers. Order from the cashier on the right, pay, and then hand your receipt to the guys on the left who whip up the most delicious falafel you’ve ever tasted! It’s a culinary experience you won’t soon forget.

A Stroll through History: Rue Bonaparte

After a truly satisfying lunch, take a leisurely stroll back towards Saint Germain, stopping in charming shops and soaking in the ambiance of this vibrant district. On Rue Bonaparte, you’ll discover Buly 1803, an apothecary that’s a step back in time. This old-school establishment offers a unique experience, with artisanal products made with the finest natural ingredients. From perfumes to soaps, ointments, creams, and treatment salves, every item is beautifully packaged and wrapped. Whether you’re buying a gift for a loved one or treating yourself, Buly is a must-visit.

A Parisian Icon: Les Deux Magot

You might have already spent more than you planned at Buly, but don’t worry, it’s time for a little indulgence. Head to the legendary Les Deux Magot, a famous Parisian cafe frequented by literary and artistic giants like Ernest Hemingway, Pablo Picasso, and James Joyce. It’s a Parisian institution, and you should experience it. Grab a table outside and watch the world go by, taking in the charming Parisian energy.

A Cozy Evening: Le Coupe Chou

As the evening descends, immerse yourself in the history of the Latin Quarter. Le Coupe Chou is located in a 17th-century ivy-covered house, transporting you back in time. The cozy atmosphere and hearty French classics like duck foie gras, escargot, and veal fillet will leave you feeling satisfied and content.

A Midnight in Paris Moment: Saint-Étienne-du-Mont Church

Just a few minutes walk from Le Coupe Chou is Saint-Étienne-du-Mont Church. Take a seat on the steps around the corner from the main entrance on Rue Sainte-Genevieve. This is where Owen Wilson’s character, Gil, witnesses a 1920s Peugeot at midnight in Woody Allen’s “Midnight in Paris”. Let the magic of Paris wash over you, and see if this movie moment can become your reality.

A Night of Music: La Taverne de Cluny

End your perfect Parisian day with a touch of musical enchantment. La Taverne de Cluny, located in the heart of the Latin Quarter, is known for its live music. You’ll be captivated by the trio of musicians with a violin, guitar, and cello. This is the ideal spot for a nightcap, reflecting on a day filled with Parisian charm, history, and culture.

Enjoy your Parisian adventure!
