Cancellation Policies: Flexibility and Peace of Mind
At Crown Tours, we understand that plans can change. That’s why we’ve created a flexible cancellation policy designed to give you peace of mind.
Here’s the breakdown:
- 72 Hours or More Notice: Cancel your tour 72 hours or more before your scheduled time, and you’re eligible for a full refund or can reschedule your tour at no extra cost (subject to availability).
- 36-72 Hours Notice: Need to change dates or times? We’re happy to help! Cancellations within this timeframe might be transferred to a different date or tour (if available), but a transfer fee may apply.
- Less than 36 Hours Notice: Unfortunately, cancellations made within 36 hours of your tour are non-refundable and cannot be transferred.
Important Note: These policies do not apply to Colosseum Underground tours.

Refund Processing:
For eligible refunds, we’ll process your refund within 24 hours of your request.
Colosseum Underground Tours: Special Considerations
Due to the Colosseum’s unique regulations, all Colosseum Underground tour bookings become non-refundable and non-transferable within 32 days of the tour date. This applies to all suppliers.
Here’s how we handle Colosseum Underground bookings:
- We strive to keep our calendar updated with the latest availability, but the Colosseum releases tickets throughout the year.
- While we’ll do our best to secure your chosen date and time, it’s possible that tour times may vary slightly depending on available tickets.
- If your booking is subject to changes, we’ll notify you promptly. In such cases, you’ll be eligible for a full refund in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Protecting You: Our Commitment to Your Safety
We prioritize your safety and well-being. While we’ll do everything in our power to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, Crown Tours S.r.l.s. is not liable for personal injury, loss or damage of luggage, or death.
We are also not responsible for events beyond our control, including natural disasters, war, floods, or severe weather conditions.
Small Group Tours: Punctuality is Key
Once you book your tour, you’ll receive detailed information about meeting locations and times. Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before your tour starts.
If you arrive late, we can’t guarantee you’ll find your guide, and we won’t be able to issue refunds. We’ll do our best to accommodate you if you arrive late, but we can’t guarantee that you’ll be able to join the tour.
Private Experiences and Transfers: Planning Ahead
If you anticipate any delays with your private tours or transfer services, please contact our office immediately at (+39 392 533 1594). We can’t guarantee last-minute reschedulings will be possible without additional charges.

Proof of Age: Ensuring Compliance
All teenagers and children under 18 must show valid proof of age (passport, driver’s license, or birth certificate) to receive discounted rates.

While we strive to fulfill all bookings made through our website, in rare cases of last-minute bookings, we may not be able to guarantee immediate availability due to limited tour guides or tickets.
If this occurs, we’ll contact you and offer an alternative tour, a new starting time, or a full refund.
