Giovanni Monaco, the man behind the magic of Luce Experience, shares his vision: “We’ve completely reinvented the food and drink offerings, from the pop-inspired menu to the intriguing cocktail list. We’re also creating a vibrant space for entertainment, with high-level artistic content, including contemporary art exhibitions, to elevate the Luce experience. The aesthetic has been carefully curated with light curtains, cushions, carpets, tables, and private areas to create an atmosphere of light and wonder.”

The cocktail station, open daily from 6 PM, is a haven for refreshing and flavorful drinks. Bar Manager Marco Rimedio and Edoardo Mattarino have crafted a cocktail list that is inspired by the name of the place, with bright colors that complement the garden ambiance.

Don’t miss the signature Luce cocktail, a vibrant blend of vodka, orange liqueur, blue curacao, Campari bitter, and citrus. A Culinary Journey From the Heart of Rome
The kitchen, helmed by young Roman chef Massimo Pedico, is a testament to his passion and skill. Massimo, trained at Pellegrino Artusi in Rome and gaining experience at some of the city’s finest restaurants, including Hosteria dell’Orso, Parco dei Principi, and Magazzino Scipioni, brings a unique perspective to modern cooking.
His time working alongside Chef Timothy Hollingsworth of Otium Restaurant in Los Angeles instilled in him valuable techniques and a commitment to excellence.
Massimo’s philosophy is reflected in the Luce menu: “As the title ‘Reborn from the Origins’ states, the idea of the new Luce menu stems from the desire to return to normality through what this long period of closure has made us rediscover, that is our origins. Like the phoenixes are reborn from their own ashes, we too, both from a human and professional point of view, want to do so, starting again from scratch, to rise again together with the people who will come to visit us.”
A Slice of Italy: The Pizza Experience
On one corner of the garden, a brick oven hums with the warmth of tradition. Pizza chef Raffaele Rozzi, a master of dough with decades of experience, crafts pizzas that are leavened for 48 to 72 hours. The menu features classic pizzas and original creations, such as the Pizza del Mio Cuore, a delightful combination of red and yellow tomatoes, basil, and buffalo mozzarella.
