Be aware: Basic Economy tickets are non-refundable and can’t be changed. Also, seat assignments are only available at check-in, and you can’t upgrade to a more comfortable seat.

However, baggage fees may apply depending on your destination and fare type. Here’s a breakdown of our baggage fees:
- Within the United States (including Puerto Rico): $35 USD for your first checked bag and $45 USD for the second.
- Between the United States and Canada: $35 USD for your first checked bag and $45 USD for the second.
- Between the United States and the U.S. Virgin Islands, Central America (excluding El Salvador and Panama), the Caribbean, Guyana, or Bermuda: $35 USD for your first checked bag and $45 USD for the second.
- Between the United States and Mexico: $35 USD for your first checked bag and $45 USD for the second.
- Between the United States and El Salvador or Ecuador: $35 USD for your first checked bag (Basic Economy only) and $45 USD for the second.
- Between the United States and Panama: $35 USD for your first checked bag (Basic Economy only) and $45 USD for the second.
- Between the United States and South America (excluding Guyana & Ecuador): No fee for your first checked bag and $60 for the second.
- Between the United States and Europe: $100 USD or 85 EUR for the second checked bag.
- Between the United States and Africa, the Middle East, and India: No fee for your first checked bag and $100 USD for the second (Basic Economy only).
- Between the United States and Asia (excluding Australia, New Zealand, China, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea): No fee for your first checked bag and $100 USD for the second (Basic Economy only).
- Between the United States and Australia, New Zealand, China, Fiji, or Papua New Guinea: No fee for your first checked bag and $100 USD for the second.
Remember, all baggage allowances are subject to size and weight limits.

SkyMiles Award Travel: Your Journey, Your Way
Dreaming of using your SkyMiles for an exciting getaway? Delta offers a range of Award Travel options, allowing you to redeem your miles for flights to incredible destinations.
Keep in mind: Award Travel is subject to taxes, fees, and carrier-imposed charges that you’ll need to pay when booking your ticket.
Also, Award Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or routes.
For Main Cabin and above Award Travel tickets, you can change or cancel your tickets without a fee for flights originating from the United States and Canada.
